Civil Lab Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Lab Technicians to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers who are eager to kickstart their careers in testing and quality control. Training will be provided in all aspects of the job, so no prior experience is necessary. We are hiring for multiple specializations, including:

• Soil Testing Technician
• Concrete Testing Technician
• Steel Testing Technician
• Site Lab Technician

As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of materials used in construction projects. You will perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses on soil, concrete, steel, and other construction materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Soil Testing Technician: Conduct tests on soil samples to determine their properties and suitability for construction, including compaction, moisture content, and strength.
• Concrete Testing Technician: Perform tests on concrete samples to check consistency, compressive strength, and workability.
• Steel Testing Technician: Test steel materials for strength, flexibility, and other properties to ensure they meet construction standards.
• Site Lab Technician: Manage and conduct on-site testing at construction sites to ensure materials are up to required standards and report findings to site engineers and supervisors.
• Document test results and maintain accurate records for quality assurance.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization.
• Assist senior lab technicians and engineers with specialized testing when necessary.
• Ensure all tests are conducted in compliance with local building codes and regulations.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Requirement: Freshers with a background in Civil prefered.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with lab equipment and basic laboratory techniques (training will be provided).
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy in testing, recording, and reporting results.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and work toward resolving them.
• Communication Skills: Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with senior technicians and engineers.
