Civil Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing on construction materials such as soil, concrete, aggregates, asphalt, and cement
• Prepare test samples and operate laboratory equipment
• Record, analyze, and report test results accurately
• Ensure tests comply with relevant standards (ASTM, BS, IS, or project specifications)
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment
• Assist engineers and senior technicians as required

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum [1-2] years of experience in a civil/material testing laboratory (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of laboratory testing standards and procedures
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports
• Good communication and teamwork skills
