Civil Litigation Attorney

This is a part-time or full-time Attorney role located in Los Angeles, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. As a Litigation Associate Attorney at Law Offices of George J. Shalhoub, you prepare, file, and manage of legal documents alongside our litigation team, as well as conduct research and draft pleadings, subpoenas, and motions. You will also prepare trial or mediation notebooks, maintain files and electronic databases (namely Clio and Outlook), and manage discovery.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, etc.
- Document review
- Legal Analysis
- Draft letters

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in the legal field is required (i.e., attorney, law clerk, legal assistant, paralegal)
- Strong writing skills with the ability to draft legal documents accurately
- Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in conducting legal research using online databases and resources
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and review
- Ability to interview clients and gather relevant information for cases
- Familiarity with legal drafting techniques and formatting requirements
