Civil Litigation Paralegal

Job Summary
Birmingham Personal Injury Firm looking for a litigation paralegal. The Burton Law Firm is a family-owned personal injury practice located in the Five Points South Historic District since 1984.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year litigation experience required
• Experience in personal injury preferred.
• Must have experience in drafting legal documents including complaints and all discovery documents
• Conduct legal research
• Prepare Interrogatories and draft responses.
• E-File in state and federal court
• Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with case management systems preferred. Case Peer and/or File Vine
• Highschool graduate or associates degree
• Paralegal Certificate preferred
