Civil Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal – Chicago, IL (Hybrid 3 Days On-site / 2 Remote)
Compensation: $70,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our Chicago office. The ideal candidate is experienced, adaptable, and team-oriented, with a strong foundation in Illinois civil litigation procedures. This role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office / 2 days remote) and an opportunity to work on engaging personal injury and insurance litigation matters — plaintiff-side experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to attorneys through all phases of litigation, from pre-suit through trial
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents
• Manage case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings under Illinois court rules
• Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
• Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and attend court proceedings as needed

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on litigation paralegal experience (not surface-level exposure)
• Strong knowledge of Illinois civil procedures required
• Experience in personal injury and/or insurance litigation (plaintiff-side preferred; defense considered)
• Self-starter with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to take and apply feedback constructively
• Team-oriented attitude — willing to assist wherever needed
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
