Civil Planning Engineer

Job description

§ We are seeking a highly experienced Planner with a minimum of 4- 5 years of experience in high-rise building construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

§ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

§ Minimum of 4-5 years of construction planning experience in high-rise building projects.

§ Proven expertise in using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.

§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

§ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

§ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

§ In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies and industry best practices.

§ Experience working in the UAE construction industry is preferred.

§ Key Responsibilities:

§ Develop and maintain comprehensive construction schedules, including detailed work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.

§ Utilize advanced scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project) to create and manage project plans.

§ Collaborate closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure alignment with project objectives.

§ Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.

§ Monitor project progress, analyze performance metrics, and generate regular progress reports for management.

§ Implement effective change management processes to accommodate project modifications.

§ Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations.

§ Provide leadership and mentorship to junior planning team members. Work under deadlines in fast-paced environment

§ Provide back up support for all operations and other related duties as assigned And extended site duties as per site requirements
