Civil Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities Lead end-to-end sourcing processes: RFI, RFP, RFQ, and tendering for civil and MEP packages.

• Prepare and issue purchase orders and agreements

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns

• Inspect and evaluate the quality of purchased items and resolve shortcomings

• Analyse industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies

Requirements and skills

• Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role

• Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with business application software, purchasing and resource planning systems

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), procurement, or related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in procurement with focus on civil and MEP categories.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, or hospital.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC), procurement law, and vendor management.

• Proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
