Civil QA/QC Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Civil QA/QC Engineer with proven experience in UAE construction projects, specifically villas and high-rise buildings. The candidate will be responsible for implementing quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Project Quality Plan (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and Method Statements.
• Conduct inspections for civil works including excavation, foundation, concrete works, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, drawings, and UAE authority standards (Dubai Municipality, AD Municipality, Trakhees, etc.).
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams for inspections and approvals.
• Raise and close NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor material submittals, method statements, and shop drawing approvals.
• Conduct site surveillance and internal audits.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation, reports, and quality records.
• Ensure testing of materials (concrete, steel, soil, waterproofing) through approved third-party laboratories.
• Prepare MIRs (Material Inspection Requests) and WIRs (Work Inspection Requests).
• Liaise with consultants for stage inspections and approvals.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of UAE experience in villa and high-rise construction.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority requirements.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Well-versed with concrete mix design, structural works, and finishing works inspection.
• Experience in handling consultant inspections and documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
