Job Overview

ScaleUp Connect is hiring on behalf of its client for an experienced Civil QA/QC Manager for a large-scale high-rise mixed-use development project comprising a shopping mall and residential towers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in quality control of RCC structural works and finishing works on major building projects and will be responsible for ensuring that all civil works comply with project specifications, approved drawings, and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage QA/QC procedures in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project quality requirements.
• Ensure all civil works comply with consultant-approved ITPs, method statements, BOQs, and applicable standards.
• Monitor and control the quality of structural, finishing, and external works at the construction site.
• Conduct inspections for concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, shuttering, block masonry, plastering, tiling, waterproofing, and finishing activities.
• Review and approve material submittals, finishing materials, concrete mix designs, and laboratory test reports.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation including Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Maintain quality records and submit daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports to project management.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams to ensure high workmanship and compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with ACI, ASTM, BS standards, ISO 9001, and relevant local building regulations.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and verify work quality for progress evaluation and billing certification.

Qualifications

• BE / BSc in Civil Engineering (PEC registration preferred).
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, preferably on high-rise buildings, malls, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong hands-on experience in RCC structural works and finishing works.
• Sound knowledge of international construction standards and local construction practices.
