Civil QS & Costing Manager

We are seeking an experienced Civil Quantity Surveying (QS) & Costing Manager to oversee cost planning, budgeting, and commercial management for our civil construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate cost control, prepare detailed estimates, manage contracts, and support project teams in achieving financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and budgets for civil works.
• Develop and maintain cost control systems for ongoing projects.
• Conduct tendering, bid analysis, and vendor negotiations to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), rate analyses, and cost breakdowns for various activities.
• Evaluate contractor/consultant invoices, variations, and claims, and recommend approvals.
• Monitor project expenditure, forecast costs, and highlight potential overruns.
• Ensure all cost and QS activities comply with project specifications, contracts, and legal standards.
• Support project managers in commercial decisions, risk assessments, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare regular cost and progress reports for management review.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to validate quantities and costs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Costing, or Commercial Management in civil/construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract management, and project budgeting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (Candy, CostX, etc.).
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of local tendering laws, taxation, and contract conditions (FIDIC, CPWD, etc.).
• Certification in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹689,513.52 - ₹1,022,063.84 per year
