Civil Roadswork Engineer (BH)

Job Description:

A Road Works Engineer with a focus on utilities combines expertise in road construction with the management of underground and overhead utility systems. This role ensures the safe and efficient integration of utilities — including water, gas, electricity, and communication systems — within road construction projects. The engineer will be responsible for overseeing the relocation, installation, and maintenance of utilities during and after road works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the integration of utility systems (water, gas, electricity, and communication lines) within road construction projects.
• Coordinate utility relocations to ensure minimal disruption during construction.
• Oversee technical aspects of utility-related work to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve utility-related challenges.
• Prepare and review drawings, reports, and documentation related to utilities.
• Support project scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in relevant design and project management software, especially AutoCAD and Civil 3D .
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems effectively and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering .
• Only Bahraini nationals will be considered for this position.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in road construction and utility coordination is preferred.
