Civil Safety Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safety Officer to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a secure work environment at our building and high-rise construction sites. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in civil construction safety and hold a diploma degree in safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulations at construction sites.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct safety training and toolbox talks for workers and site personnel.
• Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, and incidents.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure safety compliance.
• Lead emergency response drills and ensure the workforce is prepared for potential emergencies.
• Stay updated with the latest safety trends, laws, and regulations in the construction industry.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Safety Management or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Safety Officer in building and high-rise construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil construction safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards at construction sites.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
