Civil Site Engineer

Position: Site Civil Engineer
Department: Construction / Engineering
Location: Project Site (as assigned)
Reports to: Project Manager / Construction Manager

Job Summary:

The Site Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring that construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards. The role involves coordination with consultants, subcontractors, clients and site teams to ensure timely and quality execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision & Execution:
• Monitor and manage civil works at the site according to drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
• Ensure that all construction activities are executed safely and efficiently.
• Verify that materials and workmanship meet required quality standards.
• Planning & Coordination:
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, and site workers for smooth workflow.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and project managers to resolve technical issues.
• Assist in planning daily and weekly site activities.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct inspections for civil works like foundations, columns, slabs, plastering, and finishes.
• Maintain proper records of tests and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with company quality policies and procedures.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and material usage logs.
• Record site measurements and support in preparation of BOQ updates and variation claims.
• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, RFIs, and approvals.
• Health & Safety:
• Ensure all site activities follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Report any unsafe practices or incidents immediately to the management.
• Material & Resource Management:
• Supervise delivery, storage, and usage of construction materials.
• Monitor labor and equipment utilization at the site.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of site experience in building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
