Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Site Engineer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, ensuring work quality, and coordinating with consultants and subcontractors to deliver the project on time and according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision

• Supervise and execute all civil construction activities as per approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor activities such as structural works, blockwork, plaster, concreting, waterproofing, and finishing coordination.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of daily site tasks.

2. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and finishing teams to avoid clashes and delays.
• Attend site meetings with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Communicate effectively with foremen, supervisors, and labor teams.

3. Technical Responsibilities

• Review IFC drawings and shop drawings.
• Prepare site measurements, BOQs, and reports.
• Raise Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and ensure consultant approval.
• Ensure materials and workmanship comply with project standards.

4. Quality & Safety

• Ensure all civil works meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure site compliance with HSE procedures.
• Identify construction issues and provide technical solutions.

5. Documentation

• Maintain daily site reports, progress tracking, and material logs.
• Assist in preparing method statements, checklists, and as-built drawings.
• Follow up with QA/QC for inspections and testing.

6. Project Progress

• Monitor daily manpower productivity.
• Ensure works are completed per project schedule.
• Report delays and proposes corrective actions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of structural, civil, and architectural works.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and site documentation.
• Experience working on high-rise or large-scale projects (preferred).
