Civil Site Engineer

• Project oversight: Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Technical supervision: Act as the main technical advisor on site, checking designs and drawings for accuracy and ensuring all work adheres to project specifications.
• Quality and safety: Enforce health and safety regulations and monitor the quality of materials and workmanship to ensure standards are met.
• Team coordination: Liaise with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
• Resource management: Oversee the requisition and selection of materials, and manage site staff and subcontractors.
• Problem-solving: Identify and resolve any emerging problems, deficiencies, or delays that arise during the construction process.
• Reporting and documentation: Prepare and submit progress reports, compile cost estimates, and ensure all technical documentation is completed and maintained.
• Site setup: Undertake surveys and set out sites to ensure accurate and proper construction.

Qualifications and skills

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in project management software like AutoCAD and Primavera is often required.

Sharjah Experienced candidates are preferred
