About the Role:

Consortio, a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with strong hands-on site experience. The ideal candidate must have 5–10 years of relevant experience, including involvement in construction supervision, site coordination, design review, and project execution. Experience working within the UAE/GCC region is a strong advantage.

This role requires a technically proficient engineer who can effectively manage site activities, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work is executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Review and approve civil engineering drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve site issues and ensure smooth project progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Identify, report, and follow up on any deviations, non-conformances, or technical concerns.
• Monitor project progress and prepare periodic reports, inspections, and documentation.
• Attend site meetings, provide technical input, and ensure alignment between design intent and construction execution.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and risk assessment as required.
• Ensure all works adhere to local authority requirements and construction regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of hands-on site experience in civil engineering, preferably within consultancy environments.
• Prior experience in the UAE/GCC is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, civil engineering standards, and local authority regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
