Civil Site Engineer

The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and infrastructure development for National Guard housing projects. This role requires in-depth knowledge of civil engineering practices, site development, and military housing standards. The engineer will ensure that all phases of site work—from earthworks to utility installations—are completed in accordance with engineering drawings, safety protocols, and project timelines.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret project drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Supervise and inspect civil works on-site, including grading, drainage, utility installations (water, sewer, electricity), and road works.
• Ensure all construction activities are carried out in compliance with local codes, regulations, and military standards.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and architectural teams to ensure integrated site execution.
• Develop detailed work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
• Monitor daily site operations and report progress to the Project Manager.
• Enforce safety regulations and participate in safety audits.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure construction meets project specifications and standards.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, labor logs, material usage, and inspection reports.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support during reviews or site inspections.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10 years in civil/site engineering, preferably with experience in military, government, or institutional housing projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering software AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
