Job Title: Civil Site Engineer

Department: Projects / Construction

Reporting To: Projects Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi & Al Ain

Authorities: Abu Dhabi Municipality, Al Ain Municipality, DMT, Civil Defence, Estidama Taqa

1.Role

Manage and execute comprehensively site in compliance with ADM/ AAM regulations accordingly approved drawings, specifications, and requirements.

Act as the contractor’s representative for daily site activities, authority inspections, and quality control.

2. Key Responsibilities

Technical & Site Execution

1. Well knowledge of IFC drawings, shop drawings, BOQ, specifications, method statements & WIR/MIR process.

2. Supervise daily civil works: earthworks, substructure, superstructure, finishes.

3. Coordinate with surveyors, sub-contractors.

4. Able to manage multiple sites simultaneously.

5. Ensure works are executed as per approved shop drawings and regulatory standards.

Authority & Municipality Coordination

1. Liaise with Municipality engineers for inspections, NOCs, and site visits.

2. Prepare and submit WIRs for staged inspections: excavation, foundation, slab, waterproofing, etc.

3. Ensure compliance with Estidama, DMT regulations, and Building Code requirements.

4. Attend joint inspections with consultants and Municipality.

Quality, Safety & Documentation

1. Implement company QA/QC plan & policy to make sure zero rework.

2. Maintain daily site reports, progress photos, and hindrance logs.

3. Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure zero accidents.

4. Well knowledge of snag lists & authority handover.

Resource & Subcontractor Management

1.Can plan manpower, material, and equipment requirements 2 weeks in advance.

2. Supervise foremen, chargehands, and subcontractors to meet daily targets.

3. Check and certify subcontractor work.

4. Control wastage of concrete, steel, and other materials at site.

Planning & Reporting

1. Prepare 2-week lookahead and weekly progress reports for PM.

2. Highlight delays, risks, or technical queries to PM to have solutions on time.

3. Coordinate with MEP, Procurement, and Planning teams for interface works.

Qualification & Experience.

1. Education: Diploma /B.E / B.T in Civil Engineering

2. Experience: 5-8 years in UAE, minimum 3 years with Abu Dhabi / Al Ain Municipality projects

3. Knowledge: Abu Dhabi Building Code, Estidama, ADCD, DMT procedures.

4. Skills: AutoCAD, site setting out, strong communication with authorities

5. Licenses: Valid UAE Driving License preferred

Key Performance indicators (KPIs)

1. Zero NCRs from Municipality inspections

2. Works completed within approved time.

3. Timely submission of WIRs and closing of authority comments

4. Safety record – Zero LTI

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
