Civil Site Engineer - AL HASHEMI INTERNATIONAL GROUP

Core Responsibilities:

A Civil Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing construction activities on-site, ensuring that civil works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

1. Site Execution & Supervision

Supervise daily construction activities on site

Ensure work is done according to approved drawings and specifications

Monitor progress of civil works (excavation, concrete, structures, roads, utilities)

2. Technical Work

Interpret and implement structural and civil drawings

Check levels, measurements, and setting out work

Ensure correct execution of foundations, slabs, columns, and infrastructure works

3. Quality Control (QA/QC Support)

Inspect materials and workmanship on site

Ensure compliance with QCS (Qatar Construction Standards)

Coordinate with QA/QC engineers for inspections and approvals

4. Coordination

Work with consultants, subcontractors, and project engineers

Coordinate with MEP teams (HVAC, plumbing, electrical)

Attend site meetings and report progress

5. Planning & Reporting

Monitor daily/weekly site progress

Prepare site reports and updates for project manager

Assist in scheduling manpower and resources

6. Safety Responsibilities

Ensure all workers follow HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) rules

Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings

Report unsafe activities or hazards

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

2–7+ years experience (depends on company level)

Knowledge of construction methods and materials

Ability to read AutoCAD drawings

Familiar with MS Office and site reporting tools

GCC experience (preferred in Qatar)

UPDA/MMUP certification (strong advantage in Qatar)
