Civil Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Project Execution

• Supervise and manage civil construction activities for landscaping, swimming pool, and water feature projects.
• Oversee project execution from site mobilization through final completion and handover.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, project schedules, and quality standards.
• Monitor daily site activities, track progress against milestones, and proactively address execution challenges.

Swimming Pool & Water Feature Construction

• Supervise the construction of swimming pools, pump rooms, balancing tanks, fountains, waterfalls, and associated civil structures.
• Oversee excavation, reinforcement, concrete works, waterproofing, tiling, coping, and finishing activities.
• Ensure proper installation and quality control of water-retaining structures and related civil components.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to facilitate seamless integration of pool filtration and water feature systems.

Landscaping & Hardscape Works

• Manage hardscape construction including paving, interlocks, kerbstones, pathways, retaining walls, pergola foundations, and decorative structures.
• Supervise excavation, grading, earthworks, drainage systems, and site preparation activities.
• Ensure landscape infrastructure is constructed in accordance with approved designs and engineering requirements.

Coordination & Technical Review

• Coordinate with consultants, architects, MEP engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review construction drawings, BOQs, material submittals, and technical specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Resolve site-related technical issues and provide engineering support to maintain project progress.

Quality Control & Regulatory Compliance

• Conduct routine site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Ensure all civil works comply with UAE authority regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and implement corrective actions where required.

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports along with inspection records and site documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, material usage, and project updates.
• Support documentation required for approvals, inspections, testing, and final project handover.

Cost Control & HSE Support

• Assist with quantity take-offs, material estimation, procurement coordination, and cost monitoring.
• Support efficient resource utilization and project cost control initiatives.
• Ensure strict compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and promote safe working practices across all site activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years of UAE experience in landscaping, swimming pool, water feature, or civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete works, waterproofing, hardscape construction, drainage systems, and swimming pool structures.
• Experience coordinating civil works with MEP, irrigation, and landscape teams.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and quality control procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project documentation is preferred.
• UAE Driving License is preferred.
