Job Title: Building Construction Engineer

Job Summary:

The Building Construction Engineer is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that construction projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and supervise construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and project schedules.

• Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings and specifications.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, design plans, and quality requirements.

• Coordinate with contractors, architects, surveyors, and local authorities to resolve design and construction issues.

• Manage procurement of materials and monitor construction progress.

• Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates.

• Ensure adherence to building codes, environmental regulations, and health and safety standards.

• Provide technical advice and solutions for construction challenges.

• Supervise and train junior engineers, site staff, and technicians.
