Civil Structural Engineer

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred) with 5-8 years of experience in the design and analysis of civil and structural works for petrochemical and industrial facilities.

The Civil Structural Engineer will be responsible for:

• Structural design, analysis, and detailing of industrial structures, including steel and concrete systems, foundations, pipe racks, and equipment structures.

• Preparing and reviewing design calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.

• Ensuring compliance with Saudi Building Codes, ACI, ASCE, ASTM, IBC, and other applicable international standards.

• Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, clients, and contractors.

• Conducting site visits, data collection, and inspections when required.

• Preparing technical reports and supporting internal/client design review meetings.

• Supporting project planning and scheduling for civil/structural deliverables.

• Ensuring that all engineering outputs meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Certification Requirement

• Professional Engineer (PE) - Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) (Mandatory)

Preferred Skills & Tools

• Hands-on experience with STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Revit (or equivalent software)

• Strong working knowledge of Saudi codes and American standards

• Familiarity with project execution in the GCC region

• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and teamwork abilities
