Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage site workers, subcontractors, and daily construction activities related to civil and structural works.
• Execute work as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor manpower allocation, productivity, and work progress on site.
• Ensure proper use of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with safety regulations.
• Read and interpret structural and civil drawings accurately.
• Report daily progress, material requirements, and site issues to management.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained at all times on site.
• Assist in resolving technical and operational issues during project execution.
• Monitor concrete works, block works, steel fixing, shuttering, excavation, and finishing activities.
• Ensure all works comply with local authority and company standards.
• Coordinate material deliveries and ensure availability of required resources on site.
• Maintain attendance records and supervise labor discipline.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in civil and structural construction works within a contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, site supervision, and structural activities.
• Experience in commercial, residential, and fit-out projects is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and BOQs.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the UAE construction industry.
