Civil Supervisor - Oil & Gas

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision:-
• Oversee all civil construction activities and ensure they are carried out according to approved designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Quality Assurance:-
• Conduct inspections and ensure quality standards are met throughout all phases of construction.
• Identify and resolve any construction quality-related issues in a timely manner.
• Health & Safety Compliance:-
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure all work complies with local safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks with workers to promote a safe working environment.
• Coordination and Communication:-
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure smooth execution of the project.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain efficient workflow.
• Report daily progress, potential delays, and other issues to project managers.
• Documentation and Reporting:-
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material use, and workforce attendance.
• Prepare progress reports and submit them to the project management team.
• Problem Solving:-
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and propose actionable solutions to keep the project on track.
• Address design discrepancies or unforeseen challenges by consulting with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:-

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
