Civil Technician – F&B Sector

Job Purpose

Responsible for maintaining and repairing civil works within food & beverage facilities, ensuring safe, hygienic, and efficient operations. The role covers masonry, carpentry, and general civil maintenance to support smooth restaurant and kitchen functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform masonry works including tiling, plastering, and concrete repairs in kitchen and dining areas.
• Handle carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and wooden fixtures.
• Conduct routine inspections of civil structures to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist in layout modifications and small-scale construction projects within F&B outlets.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime.
• Maintain proper records of work completed and materials used.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering, Masonry, or Carpentry.
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in civil maintenance, preferably in hospitality or F&B sector.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of masonry and carpentry techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety and hygiene standards in food service environments.
• Personal Attributes:
• Detail-oriented and proactive.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Team player with good communication skills.
