Job Purpose
Responsible for maintaining and repairing civil works within food & beverage facilities, ensuring safe, hygienic, and efficient operations. The role covers masonry, carpentry, and general civil maintenance to support smooth restaurant and kitchen functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform masonry works including tiling, plastering, and concrete repairs in kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, cabinets, and wooden fixtures.
- Conduct routine inspections of civil structures to ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Assist in layout modifications and small-scale construction projects within F&B outlets.
- Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain proper records of work completed and materials used.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering, Masonry, or Carpentry.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in civil maintenance, preferably in hospitality or F&B sector.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of masonry and carpentry techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with safety and hygiene standards in food service environments.
- Personal Attributes:
- Detail-oriented and proactive.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team player with good communication skills.
