CIVIL WORKS SITE ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION OF CIVIL WORKS SITE ENGINEER

Civil Engineering / Architectural Degree or equivalent, with Min. 10 years’ experience in Civil Works construction site activities (in SS business and/or power stations)

Having Competent certification and previously approval working by “TAQA”

Defining the CW construction schedule in accordance with the overall project schedule

Assisting the PM in managing the interfaces between EM erection & CW construction works

Supervising the CW & coordination with MEP construction subcontractor(s)

Manage the CW subcontractors to deliver timely and within budget the CW of the project.

Attending, as required by PM, coordination, and progress meetings with Client.

Attending coordination and progress meeting with the subcontractors

CW reporting document preparation

Reviewing any design modification during construction stage with regards to cost and schedule impact

Ensuring CW construction is in accordance with drawings, specifications, and in line with schedule.

Ensuring QEHS plan is effectively implemented at site.

Controlling and measuring, according to the methodology set for the construction works, the progress of the works and report to Project Manager

.

Assisting Project Manager in terms of risk and opportunity analysis, highlighting any design deviation, assumption or delay which may impact the overall schedule or CW cost.

Ensuring compliance to PMH, EMH, GRID Quality Policy & IMS procedures

Ensuring compliance with EHS policy and procedures Recording and reporting of Quality Objectives & KPI data
