Civil/Structural Engineer

Position Overview:

The Civil / Structural Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising structural components of construction projects to ensure compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and project requirements. The ideal candidate should have solid technical knowledge, site experience, and strong coordination skills to work closely with project teams, consultants, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and analyze structural drawings, calculations, and designs for buildings, foundations, and other structures.
• Ensure that designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements (e.g., IS, BS, or ACI codes).
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines for design integration.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor structural work and ensure quality and compliance with design specifications.
• Review material submittals and approve structural elements as per design criteria.
• Identify and resolve design or construction issues promptly.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and technical specifications for tenders.
• Liaise with consultants and contractors for technical clarifications.
• Support value engineering initiatives to optimize design and reduce costs without compromising safety or quality.
• Maintain documentation and prepare technical reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
