Claims Adjuster- Total Loss / Fire Theft

We are currently seeking a Total Loss Adjuster within our claims department in San Antonio, TX. The Total Loss Adjuster is responsible to guide customers through the claim process to ensure award class claim experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Interpret the insurance policy and determine if coverage is afforded
• Ensure we fulfill our obligations to the policy holder
• Offer customer service to both our internal and external customer
• Investigate losses to determine cause, scope, and extent of damages and/or liability
• Identify, configure and properly evaluate the loss vehicle value
• Handle conflict resolution
• Follow all directives, policies, and procedures set by Fred Loya Insurance
• Comply with claim handling procedures and best practices
• Issue claim payments on a timely basis
• Other duties as assigned by management and as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

• Ability to work independently, yet collaborate with others
• Planning and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Able to analyze, explore, and evaluate information
• Have strong customer service background
• Able to work flexible hours
• World-class customer service and communication skills required within a team environment
• Must be able to pass State background check
• High School Diploma/GED
