Red Sea Global
is seeking highly experienced and qualified individuals to join our dynamic team. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of contract management, claims preparation and rebuttal, and a proven track record of success in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead all claims-related activities on major building and/or infrastructure projects, including: (a) Reviewing contractual entitlements, (b) Drafting claim assessment narratives and chronologies (c) working closely with forensic planners to assess extensions of time, (d) evaluating prolongation and other cost claims, and (e) preparing and submitting counterclaims.

Prepare briefs for the Legal Team for dispute resolution including arbitration proceedings.

Conduct in-depth analysis of contracts and identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.

Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on contractual and claims matters.

Negotiate and resolve disputes with contractors effectively.

Prepare concise and well-written reports and presentations for management.

Mentor and guide junior members of the Claims Team.
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Minimum 15 years in claims assessment and claims management (as well as contract management) on major building and/or infrastructure projects.

Prior experience working with a professional Claims Consultancy firm is required.

Prior experience working with an International Contractor is desirable.

Proven experience in assessing contractual claims.

Excellent contractual letter writing and report writing skills.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Extensive experience with FIDIC forms of contract.

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.

Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., MRICS, MICE, MIOB) is required.

LLM/MSc in Construction Law or LLB is highly desirable.

Membership (or Fellowship) of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIArb/FCIArb) is highly desirable.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Middle East experience is preferable but not essential.
