Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Auto & General Liability Claims Examiner to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage and resolve Commercial Auto, No-Fault/PIP, and General Liability claims from initial intake through final disposition.

You’ll play a key role in assessing exposure, guiding claim strategy, and delivering high-quality outcomes for all stakeholders. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives on independent decision-making while collaborating with legal counsel and external partners in a fully remote environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Review and interpret policy coverage to determine liability and exposure

• Investigate, evaluate, and manage Commercial Auto, PIP, and General Liability claims

• Coordinate with outside investigators, legal counsel, and third-party vendors

• Maintain accurate claim documentation and manage file diaries

• Assess claim exposure and establish appropriate reserves

• Develop and execute settlement strategies, including negotiation

• Prepare detailed loss reports covering liability, damages, and coverage

• Identify and pursue subrogation and risk transfer opportunities

• Deliver high-quality communication and service to internal and external stakeholders

What You Must Have

• 2+ years of experience handling Commercial Auto and General Liability claims

• Strong knowledge of claims handling practices, coverage analysis, and litigation management

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to evaluate claims, make sound decisions, and negotiate effectively

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Proficiency with claims management systems and standard computer applications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience handling No-Fault/PIP claims

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience

• Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional claims handling

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
