Role description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Peterborough (UK) for a Class 1 Driver specialising in driving wagons and drag vehicles. The role involves safely operating vehicles transporting wide loads of tanks and storage containers, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Would suit someone fom a agricultural background. The driver will also handle loading and unloading of goods, conduct vehicle inspections, manage transport schedules, and maintain accurate documentation. Night out will be expected as part of the role. Professional interaction with customers and colleagues is a critical aspect of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HGV Driving and possession of a Category C + E License.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Customer Service experience to ensure a positive experience for all clients during delivery and pickup interactions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform vehicle inspections and complete transport documentation accurately.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols within the transportation industry.
• Previous experience driving wagons and drag vehicles is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to schedules with minimal supervision.
