Class 2 HGV Driver - nights

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Tican Chilled Ltd.

Tican Chilled have served the meat industry nationally for over 25 years and we are now looking to expand our driving team. We are looking for a full time permanent class 2 (category C) to join our team working Sunday to Thursday out of our Walsall depot.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving from our depot in Walsall to our out bases in Southampton, Exeter or Avonmouth.

Handheld devices are used to record the daily vehicle checks and reporting of defects, the role will include some manual handling, assisting with loading and load securing. There will also be the requirement to support the warehouse department on occasions

The ideal candidate will have:

Driver CPC qualification

Digital tachograph card

Good knowledge of legislation

The successful candidate will receive:

Guaranteed Salary: £33,791 on a 45 hour week (Job and finish), plus potential 1.5k Bonus PA

Sunday midday start 11.00 am

Monday to Thursday nights, start time between 4pm-5pm

Experience:

• Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence HGV Class 2 (required)
• Driver CPC (required)

Pay: £33,791.00 per year
