Class A CDL Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This is a 4-day work week position and will have you home every day.

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive a Class A commercial vehicle, including refrigerated trailers.
• Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and cargo transported.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues encountered during route driving.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while on the road.

Skills

• Proficient in manual transmission operation.
• Experience with refrigerated trailers and freight handling.
• Strong truck driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Previous delivery driver experience is required.
