Class A CDL Driver - 3rd shift

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Feed Delivery Driver to join our CDL team in Fort Recovery.

$$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $500 each month for the first six months. Internal candidates must commit to at least 1 year in this position to be eligible.)

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Thursday 7:00pm-5:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $25.30 with the potential of increasing to $25.80 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY : Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for the CDL driving position. Job functions include:

• Delivering all feed as scheduled
• Properly disinfecting trucks and using proper biosecurity attire.
• Completing a daily inspection of tractor/trailer and maintain cleanliness per DOT Commercial Driving Inspections.
• Completing driver logs and inspection/maintenance reports.

• Must be 21 years of age and have a Class A CDL
• Must have 2 year’s driving experience, along with a clean driving record
• Ability to tolerate adverse weather conditions and dusty conditions
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time and climb feed bin ladders
