Class B CDL Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of trucks (rear loaders, front loaders and side loaders) to transport and deliver garbage, materials, or equipment to different locations.

Responsibilities:

- Safely operates and drives front-load, rear-load, or side-load refuse trucks to load and transport goods over short or long distances

-Driver must follow all safety Department Of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations as well as both federal, state, and local laws.

-Completely dumps containers and leaves customer's premise clean
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues on pre and post trip
- Plan routes and follows all route assignments
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Report defects, accidents, or violations

Experience:

- Proven experience as a class A or B truck driver
- Ability to drive different types of trucks such as front-load, rear-load, side-load, and/or container delivery is a plus.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation
- Experience with route driving responsibilities
- Familiarity with automotive systems is a plus
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures
