Duties

• Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, curiosity, and respect.
• Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
• Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and informal assessments.
• Provide individualized tutoring and support for students with diverse needs, including those with autism or requiring early intervention.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively using behavior management techniques to create a safe and productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, school activities, and administrative tasks related to education administration.
• Mentor new teachers or interns by sharing best practices in classroom management, lesson planning, and working with children of various backgrounds.
• Incorporate library services and resources into lessons to promote literacy and research skills.
• Support early childhood education initiatives by applying principles of childhood development and Montessori or other specialized teaching methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
• Valid teaching certification or license relevant to the educational level being taught.
• Proven classroom experience demonstrating effective classroom management and lesson delivery.
• Strong communication skills for working with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment strategies.
• Experience working with children with diverse needs, including special education or early childhood education settings.
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms and digital tools for instruction.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and individual needs.
• Demonstrated skills in proofreading, writing skills, and developing engaging instructional materials.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
