Job Summary

The Building Cleaner Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily cleaning and maintenance operations within assigned buildings or facilities. This role ensures that all areas are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained according to company standards and client requirements. The supervisor leads a team of cleaners, schedules work, inspects completed tasks, and ensures the proper use of cleaning equipment and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support cleaning staff in performing their duties efficiently and safely.
• Assign and monitor daily cleaning schedules and tasks for team members.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards.
• Ensure cleaning materials, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure timely replenishment.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Facilities or Maintenance Manager.
• Enforce health and safety procedures, including the proper handling of chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain records of staff attendance, work performed, and supply usage.
• Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and evaluating cleaning staff performance.
• Liaise with building management, contractors, or clients to address cleaning-related concerns.
