Job Summary

The Workshop Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within the Al Sharqi workshop facility, including the work areas, surrounding premises, offices, and employee facilities. The primary goal is to ensure a hygienic and hazard-free workplace for all staff.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Workshop and Common Areas

Floor Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and scrub the workshop floors daily to remove oil, grease, debris, dust, and other industrial waste.

Waste Management: Empty all trash and recycling receptacles in the workshop, offices, and break areas. Properly segregate and dispose of industrial waste, including oil rags and hazardous materials, following company and local safety procedures.

Tool and Equipment Area Cleaning: Clean workbenches, equipment surfaces, and storage areas, ensuring tools and parts are kept tidy and free of excessive dust or grime.

Spill Cleanup: Promptly clean up any spills (oil, chemicals, water, etc.) using appropriate absorbents and cleaning materials to prevent slips and hazards.

Exterior Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness of the outside workshop perimeter, including sweeping the loading/unloading areas, removing litter, and washing exterior glass surfaces.
