Cleaner/Janitor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
• Execute custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Maintain floors through effective floor care techniques such as buffing and waxing.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues.
• Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or painting duties.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, custodial services, or commercial cleaning is preferred.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus.
• Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting is advantageous but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $17.39 - $19.00 per hour
