Job Summary

Kingswood Cleaning Services is seeking a professional and experienced Cleaning Specialist to deliver high-quality cleaning services across residential, commercial, and hospitality environments. The successful candidate will have proven experience operating professional cleaning equipment, handling cleaning chemicals safely, maintaining cleaning supplies and storage areas, and providing exceptional customer service. Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of industry best practices and a commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning Operations Responsibilities

  • Perform deep cleaning, general cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and specialized cleaning services as assigned.
  • Carry out professional sofa cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet cleaning, curtain cleaning, mattress cleaning, and rug cleaning services using approved methods and equipment.
  • Assess fabric and material types and select appropriate cleaning techniques and chemicals to avoid damage.
  • Operate professional cleaning equipment including carpet extraction machines, upholstery cleaning machines, scrubber dryers, pressure washers, steam cleaners, vacuum systems, and polishing machines.
  • Remove stains, odours, dust, allergens, and contaminants from carpets, sofas, curtains, mattresses, and upholstered furniture.
  • Clean and sanitize floors, carpets, furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, glass surfaces, and other designated areas to company standards.
  • Follow cleaning schedules, checklists, and client-specific requirements.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns observed at client premises.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure customer satisfaction before leaving site.

Chemical Handling & Storage Responsibilities

  • Safely use, dilute, store, and handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with manufacturer instructions and company procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and chemical safety requirements.
  • Select and apply appropriate cleaning agents for different fabrics, materials, carpets, mattresses, curtains, and upholstery.
  • Ensure proper labelling, storage, and inventory management of cleaning products and consumables.
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations relating to chemical usage.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleaning equipment, storage rooms, and company vehicles where applicable.

Customer Service Responsibilities

  • Provide professional, courteous, and friendly service to clients at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand requirements and address concerns.
  • Explain cleaning processes, expected outcomes, and aftercare recommendations to clients when required.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner while on client premises.
  • Handle customer requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Build positive relationships with clients to support customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure clients are informed of completed works and any recommendations where appropriate.

General Responsibilities

  • Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment in good working condition and report defects immediately.
  • Attend training sessions and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work effectively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently.
  • Assist with additional cleaning projects and operational requirements as directed by management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of proven professional cleaning experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, facilities management, or specialist cleaning services.
  • Demonstrable experience in sofa cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet cleaning, curtain cleaning, mattress cleaning, and stain treatment.
  • Demonstrable experience operating professional cleaning machinery and equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, fabric care, chemical safety, dilution procedures, and storage requirements.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual cleaning duties.
  • Basic English communication skills required; additional languages are an advantage.
  • UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Important Note

Applicants must have prior professional cleaning experience and be able to demonstrate knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, fabric care, upholstery cleaning, carpet cleaning, curtain cleaning, mattress cleaning, and customer service. Candidates without relevant cleaning industry experience should not apply, as applications without proven experience will not be considered.

Working Conditions

  • Site-based work across multiple client locations.
  • May require evening, weekend, and public holiday work depending on operational requirements.
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, move equipment, and perform cleaning activities throughout the working day.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
