Janitorial Responsibilities

Common Areas, Lounges & Study Spaces

• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, décor, and baseboards
• Vacuum carpets; mop hard floors
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass doors
• Empty trash and replace liners
• Wipe light fixtures (up to 7 ft) and whiteboards (if not in use)

Pools & Outdoor Amenities

• Remove debris from pool decks and outdoor areas
• Clean and wipe furniture, tables, and grills
• Spot clean glass, metal, and TV screens
• Empty trash and replace liners

Fitness Rooms

• Clean mirrors, glass, and equipment surfaces
• Sweep and mop floors (3x weekly)
• Dust baseboards
• Empty trash and replace liners

Elevators & Corridors

• Vacuum/mop floors; clean walls, buttons, and handrails
• Polish tracks, mirrors, and stainless steel
• Dust fixtures and signage (up to 7 ft)
• Empty trash and replace liners

Bathrooms

• Clean/sanitize sinks, toilets, and mirrors
• Mop floors
• Refill paper, soap, and supplies
• Empty trash and replace liners

Tour Path (to model unit)

• Maintain all areas along the tour route
• Sweep/mop path from elevator to model unit daily

Model Unit

• Weekly cleaning: dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize surfaces, clean glass
• Replace paper products
• Empty trash and replace liners

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, and dispose of waste efficiently and effectively.
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure continuous availability for staff and visitors.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain consistent quality standards across all assigned spaces.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing additional attention or maintenance issues that require escalation.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and properly, including floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and pressure washers when necessary.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations by using personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling chemicals responsibly.
• Report any damages or safety hazards immediately to supervisors for prompt resolution.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning is required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• STRONG attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and moving equipment or supplies.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures; certification in chemical handling is a plus.
• Reliable transportation or proximity to the work site is advantageous. Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
• Are you able to work a 6hr shift on Saturdays? (Fridays & Sundays off)
