Cleaning Technician- Data Center Operations in Fitjar

atNorth is expanding its operations in Fitjar, Iceland, and is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible individual to join our team as a Cleaning Technician in our ISO-certified data center. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-tech, meticulously maintained environment with the leading data center provider in the Nordics.

About the Role

We are looking for a diligent Cleaning Technician to perform daily cleaning tasks within our sensitive and technical environment. atNorth operates under strict ISO standards, so the role requires a high level of care, precision, and commitment to maintaining world-class cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of technical areas, including floors, surfaces, walls, and overhead spaces
• Use specialized cleaning equipment and supplies in line with facility protocols
• Record and report cleaning activities in accordance with internal quality systems
• Follow structured cleaning schedules and ISO-compliant procedures
• Collaborate with other staff and supervisors to ensure consistent cleanliness and operational safety

Requirements:

• Previous experience cleaning in sensitive environments (e.g., data centers, cleanrooms, laboratories) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, and well-organized
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Clean criminal record is required
• English proficiency (working environment is English-speaking)
