Provides front desk and clerical support for the Accessibility Services office.

Essential Functions

  • Greet visitors, answer phones, and direct calls.
  • Communicate with students, faculty, staff, and guests both in person and answering calls.
  • Coordinate and maintain staff schedules.
  • Copy, fax, scan, file, and manage documentation.
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • Keep office areas organized and stocked.
  • Graduate students will assist with testing accommodations as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be a current student, graduate level students strongly preferred
  • Prefer long-term commitment; working summer, fall and spring semesters
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
  • Ability to work with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow staff and supervisors, as well as members of the greater community
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Must be able to recognize an emergency situation and take appropriate action
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
