Purpose and Scope:
Supports a department or work area by performing general office and/or clerical services for the Planning and Procurement department. Assist management with simple, routine or repetitive general or clerical tasks. Respond to walk-in, fax and email inquiries.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Provides general office and clerical support for one or more work areas for the Planning and Procurement department.
  • Performs basic filing, mail pickup, distribution and telephone coverage.
  • Maintains databases and other technical records for the department.
  • Uses software to enter data, including word processing, spreadsheets, and other related programs.
  • Identifies issues or problems and seek assistance from higher level personnel or management.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.

Degree Equivalency Formula:

Bachelor’s Degree= 4 years plus required years of experience.

Master’s Degree= 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
