Clerk/Cashier

Job Summary:

Garrett Popcorn Shops is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Clerk/Cashiers to deliver our signature service and help create memorable experiences for our fans. You’ll represent the Garrett brand by preparing and packaging our handcrafted popcorn, handling transactions, and keeping our shop welcoming and clean.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage fans with warmth, energy, and genuine hospitality.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations and offer samples of our signature recipes.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, loss prevention, and customer service.
• Prepare, scoop, and package popcorn to order, following Garrett’s quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including counters, equipment, and displays.
• Monitor product levels and restock popcorn and packaging materials as needed.
• Uphold all food safety, hygiene, and brand presentation standards.
• Support the back-of-house team when needed to ensure seamless shop operations.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least 16 years of age.
• Food Handler’s Certificate is required.
• Previous experience in retail, food service, or customer service is a plus.
• Energetic, friendly, and team-oriented personality.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $16.60 per hour
