Client Account Manager for SEO Agency

We’re a fast-growing SEO and digital marketing agency that helps moving and home service companies dominate online. Our work spans Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Local Search, and AI Optimization — and we’re on a mission to drive measurable results for our clients.

We’re looking for a Client Account Manager to be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. This role combines client relationship management, strategic insights, and data storytelling — turning analytics into actionable growth plans that directly contribute to business success.

This is a full-time, remote position; however, you must be located in the US and available to work on the US PST time zone.

Key Responsibilities

Client SEO Delivery & Communication

  • Lead quarterly SEO performance reviews with clients — preparing agendas, updates, risks, and next steps, all tied to ROI.
  • Use visuals and storytelling to clearly connect SEO performance with client business outcomes.
  • Summarize meeting details in ClickUp, including actionable next steps and recaps.
  • Produce quarterly reports (Looker Studio, GA4, GSC, CallRail) with Loom video recaps.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, aligning SEO strategies with client's business goals and expectations.
  • Set and manage expectations around deliverables, timelines, and results.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure smooth communication and execution.

Reporting & Performance Analysis

  • Build and maintain attribution dashboards to showcase SEO data, ROI, and lead attribution.
  • Deliver monthly “Client Wins” updates, highlighting achievements such as lead growth and service area expansion.
  • Create visually engaging reports tailored to the moving and home service industries.
  • Connect SEO metrics to business outcomes: traffic, rankings, leads, and revenue growth.
  • Use GA4, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other tools to provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.

Client Retention & Growth

  • Monitor client health and proactively identify at-risk accounts.
  • Develop retention strategies that improve satisfaction and boost renewal rates.
  • Customize SEO strategies for various moving company specializations (local, long-distance, residential, commercial, and storage), and home service company specializations
  • Spot upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand services or upgrade packages.
  • Gather client feedback and implement improvements to enhance service quality and performance.

Sales Enablement & Marketing Support

  • Support sales by preparing presentations, case studies, ROI summaries, and joining prospect calls when needed.
  • Coordinate targeted email and LinkedIn outreach campaigns for client acquisition.
  • Maintain a library of proof points (dashboards, wins, testimonials, screenshots).
  • Support marketing ops and brand visibility by managing:
  • Social media posts (client wins, tutorials, case studies, event promos)
  • Mailchimp email campaigns (announcements, product updates, webinars)
  • Webinar logistics (topic planning, run-of-show, coordination, and follow-up)
  • Podcast setup for CEO (guest research, scheduling, prep docs, asset coordination, promotion)

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years in SEO agency client management.
  • Strong SEO knowledge across Local, Technical, On-Page, and AI Optimization.
  • Exceptional client communication skills — able to translate SEO data into clear business language.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (including Loom video presentations).
  • Tool fluency: ClickUp, Slack, Google Workspace, GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, CallRail, SEO tools such as Ahrefs and SEMrush, WordPress, Mailchimp, and LinkedIn.
  • Highly organized, with strong follow-through on agendas, RAID logs, and client communications.
  • Analytical, problem-solving mindset with strong data visualization skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
