Client Accounting Advisor

Flux Accounting is a modern advisory firm built around proactive, high-touch service for small business owners. We’re growing our Client Accounting Services team and looking for an advisor who brings a strong technical skill set, true client ownership, and a genuine interest in helping business owners understand—and act on—their numbers.

What You’ll Do

• Own the monthly close for a portfolio of small business clients — reconciliations, journal entries, and accurate financials delivered on time, every time.
• Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, supporting schedules) and explain what they mean in plain English.
• Manage A/R and A/P workflows, including aging analysis and cash flow visibility.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client communication — responsive, clear, and professional.
• Identify trends, catch anomalies early, and surface insights that help clients make better decisions.
• Partner with our tax team to ensure books are clean, well-documented, and audit-ready year-round.

What You’ll Need

• Strong command of financial statements — not just how to prepare them, but how to interpret them.
• Hands-on experience with A/R and A/P management.
• Solid proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• 2+ years in a client-facing accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal).

Pay: $50,254.77 - $68,951.98 per year
