About the Role
FD National is seeking a Client Associate to join their Service Team, supporting day-to-day client service and benefits administration. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, service-driven, and comfortable managing multiple client requests in a fast-paced environment.
You will serve as a key point of contact for client inquiries, help resolve issues, and ensure a smooth experience for both clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Issue Resolution
- Resolve client issues and escalations related to employee benefits, including carrier coordination
- Communicate clearly with clients, carriers, and internal teams to drive timely resolution
Benefits Administration Support
- Manage post–Open Enrollment Evidence of Insurability (EOI) processes through carrier approval
- Coordinate and process HSA funding requests and related communications
- Respond to employee and employer benefit inquiries, including coverage, eligibility, and plan details
Service Coordination & Follow-Through
- Support and process retroactive enrollment and eligibility changes with carriers
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and carrier audit variances
- Manage multiple service requests simultaneously, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and service activity
Team Support & Process Improvement
- Handle ad hoc or non-standard client requests across benefit plans
- Provide support on FSA/HSA plan administration, including participant questions and issue resolution
- Collaborate with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service
- Contribute to improving workflows and overall client experience
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, or healthcare-related operations
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Preferred:
- Experience working with a CRM or ticketing system (Hubspot a plus)
- Familiarity with employee benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Pay: $50,000.00 per year
