We are seeking a Client Intake Specialist to join our team in our Danbury, CT office. This position plays a vital role in welcoming new clients, supporting them through challenging times, and ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve from their first interaction with our firm.

About the Role

Are you bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) and passionate about helping people? Do you have a knack for connecting with others over the phone, listening carefully, and gathering important details? Do you take pride in giving clients a positive experience and making them feel understood and supported? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

As a Client Intake Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for potential clients. You’ll speak with individuals facing difficult situations, help assess their needs, and ensure they receive timely and accurate support. This position requires empathy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake screenings for potential clients.
  • Gather, document, and input client information into the firm’s case management system.
  • Prepare and send letters to potential clients for cases that will not be retained.
  • Assist with Personal Injury Case Intake follow-up, including requesting and tracking police reports and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, attorneys, and other staff.
  • Manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold Ventura Law’s standards of service and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual required: Portuguese or Spanish
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems within scope of responsibilities.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments, priorities, and management styles.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude.
