Must Have:
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting operations, bookkeeping firm operations, or client account management
- Strong understanding of accounting/bookkeeping workflows and terminology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you will be the voice of the company to clients
- Experience working with remote or offshore teams (India experience is a plus)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and standard business tools (Google Workspace, Excel)
- US-based with reliable internet and ability to work standard US business hours
Nice to Have:
- Experience in an outsourced accounting or BPO firm
- Background in client success, account management, or operations management
- Familiarity with industries we serve: restaurants, insurance, property management, CPA firms
- Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, etc.)
- Texas-based (preferred but not required for remote candidates)Client Onboarding
- Lead the onboarding process for new clients - kickoff calls, documentation, system setup
- Coordinate with India team managers to assign resources and establish workflows
- Ensure smooth transition from sales handoff to active service delivery
- Create and maintain onboarding checklists and process documentation
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate daily with India-based Operations Director and team managers
- Monitor service delivery quality and flag issues before they reach clients
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and client-specific requirements
- Support the Founder with proposals, pricing, and contract administration
Billing & Administration
- Manage client invoicing, billing cycles, and payment follow-ups
- Maintain client records, contracts, and service agreements
- Handle basic administrative tasks for the US entity
- Prepare client reports and operational summaries as neededThe Role
As Client Operations Manager, you will be the primary communication bridge between our US clients and our India operations team. You will handle client onboarding, manage ongoing client relationships, oversee service delivery quality, and handle administrative operations including invoicing and billing. The Founder works closely with the India team on strategy and growth, and needs a trusted US-based professional to own the client experience.

Client Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary US-based point of contact for all client communications
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
- Handle client inquiries, requests, and issue resolution in a timely manner

FinAcct Technologies is a growing outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firm serving US-based businesses across multiple industries including restaurants, insurance, property management, CPA firms, and SaaS companies. We combine US-based client management with a skilled delivery team in India to provide high-quality, cost-effective financial operations support.
We are looking for a Client Operations Manager to become the US-based point of contact for our clients, manage day-to-day operations, and coordinate with our India delivery team. This role is critical to our growth - you will be the face of FinAcct for our US clients.
Pay: $38,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
